I was running with Meme last night. A new found good friend who I run constantly with. I always look forward to our weekly routine.We would talk endlessly! from past to present relationships,about assholes and bitches,happy or stressful events just about anything while running and panting at the same time.

Life indeed is a series of small circumstances and events,which makes it so beautiful. Through my friends, I learned to appreciate little things:

like running for free under the stars with a buddy bursting with stories to share.

Bitching about any person is a waste of time.

Sometimes it's just best to accept friends for who they are. Long time buddies turned enemies because of something really silly is such a waste.

I love my friends.

Most of the time, I don't agree with them about views on certain matters or about reactions on some actions. But it is what makes them real special. I love them for who they are and what they believe in.

At the end of the day it's the friendship that counts.

kringi!!! My partner in crime. Both of us love our Pinas. In fact, we have been traveling around our Philippines for the past few years.Funny thing is we never really travelled together,until this summer of 2006. One summer that i will never forget.

My friend way way back when we would wear waist high jeans with tucked in Giordano polo shirt(take note: the one with the frog) with matching sneakers!

I admire her in many ways.(though she could be "sabog" most of the times..hehehe)

* She's always on top of what she believes in,she knows her stand and fights for it.
* She's very thoughtful
* A friend I can run to anytime of the day..wow kring you're like my punching bag ehhh..
* She's very down to earth and simple-can get along with anyone!
* She's very fun to be with,no dull moment!
* Even if we have different set of friends and different gimmiks, She's still on top of my list.

I'm so grateful that I have her...thanks Kring for everything,only you know what we've been through...yup!!!! ...most of it fun times!!!

Temporary Happiness

It was Miguel's birthday last night. I ate too much steak and drank too much wine. I had scoops and scoops of Ice cream and many dips of chocolate fondue!!! It was midweek but went home almost 3am in the morning.

why I like it:

1. It's free!
2. Releases stress, somehow it clears the mind
3. I can run at my own pace,fast or slow
4. I like it when blood rushes to my head after the 3rd round,when sweat starts to drip.
5. I like it when my feet starts to float.
6. I like it when i'm breathless yet still running.
7. I like running under the stars or even when it's drizzling.
8. I like the feel of "the wind" on my face.
9. Ideas comes naturally
10. I like the interesting conversations when I run with friends.

*I think i've exhausted myself enough this summer. It's raining already,1st typhhon for this year.

*Days are quickly passing,I will be going to Spain soon and before I know it 1 year is finish.....I just feel so crappy,what the weather could do huh?

*i should start wrapping up my projects. How come when i'm just about to leave projects kept pouring in?

*Mixed feelings : excited,happy and scared- i'm keeping my options open- this will be a crucial stage for me. Everyting can happen in a span of a year.

KRING!!! I love this PIcture!!!

I just came from Caramoan,Camarines Sur. It was like Boracay 20 years ago,very pristine and untouched. Just seeing the Mayon againts the blue of the sea could make you go WOW! Instead of mountains one could sea rock formations of different shapes and sizes. (i'll post some pics on my next entry)

We were the only tourists in that area. We rode small fishermen boats wherein we have to balance ourselves well
or else it wil tip over....just imagine the all the noise that we made! It was really a memorable trip. I learned a lot from "the young once" especially from tita Maricar,who has 10 kids yet looking so young, cool and amazingly happy...She shared some insights about life which made so much sense that I adopted it to be one of my own.

I see stars! lately I've been very busy,running around for work. Finishing what has to be done,but amazingly enjoying everything.

I've been also smiling a lot for no reasons at all. Feeling giddy,and smiling without any reasons? what could it be? hahahaha..maybe you're correct! hmmmmm.....well, one of my favorite spices of life!

Eulogy for my best friend

Eisselle is a fighter,a dreamer,an artist. She is my partner,my sister and my best friend. She is my source of encouragement and my source of strength. She may be small but she is my all time defender. She taught me the importance of living and to face life's challenges bravely. In fact she treats her illness as a challenge rather than a threat.

Her simplicity made her a very special person. She finds joy in small things. Like a text from a friend,a hug from her brother or make-up sessions with her sisters. She has a great smile. A smile that touches the hearts of everyone, even the people she just met or hardly knows.

2 years ago, when my cousin passed away,we had the chance to talk seriously about life. She told me that she was living her life one day at a time,being sickly herself at that time. She told me that by being strong and brave for her family,everyhting would be okay. These conversations would not last long though,she would switch them most of the time to family stories. About her parents,her mom being an energizer bunny,her dad's favorite sports; swimming-a term she uses for mahjong,the seriousness of johans,the sweetness of Howard,despite being the biggest in the family and of course her favorite louie.She likes telling stories about her sisters and how "kikay" they have become. She loves talking about other friends,cousins and even about their helpers. She always brings out the best in everyone.

For 20 years she was my pillar and my partner.Now that she is gone,I feel half of my life has gone with her. But i am very thankful that she passed away peacefully and happy. As I go on the journey of my life,I always know that Eisselle will still be with me. My defender,my partner and my best friend forever

The sweet memories that she has woven into my life will live on and continue to touch lives- mine and others...Eise til we meet again! I miss you!

It's been 1 yr and 9 months since my bestfriend passed away....since I read this eulogy before she was burried. Life has to go on without her,I truly miss her but i know that she's just there watching over me. Makes me see that death is not something to be scared about,but something to look forward to. It's about living life to the fullest and being the best that you can be.
