LAst weekend,Barcelona celebrated the fiesta of Our Lady of La Merce. It also means the start of fall. It was fiesta for three days. One of the main highlight is the tower of people. This is a tradition for the Catalans. Usually the kids who go high up the tower are sons or daughters of the "once kids who were up there"

I have been playing with my manual mode..

Tarragona,Spain's Roman Fort. We were here last Saturday,a lovely little town with rows of old "pisos" or apartments. Even if was raining the whole day and was a bit chilly,we still did quite a walk around this old city.

My Poster job is done. I applied to some teaching jobs,most of them English tutoring. Hopefully I get something this end of the month just to keep up with my day to day expenses. I also found a school that I really like,I have been planning to take up an MA in Interior Design. If I play my cards correctly and get myself some scholarship, then hopefully i'm game for some more years here. Then again,I cannot really tell what's in store for the next few years.

Have been busy with school,next week is already the final presentation of work and i've been pushing myself horribly. My goal is to have one of the best works in class.hehehe

long weekend

Spanish people like fiestas,just like the pinoys. Ever since i got here in in BArcelona,i witnessed soooo many holidays and fiestas.

Barcelona will celebrate one of their biggest fiestas this weekend,it is the feast day of de la merce,or our lady of mercy.The metro will run for the whole night....everyone in BArcelona will party. There will be fireworks and concerts all around the cathedrals and parks. It must be fun.

I will be going to Terragona,it is a city outside Barcelona that is famous for it's ROMAN columns and houses.We will be spending our Saturday there.1 hour away by train.

Crappy job will be bearing some fruits. Next wednesday,i will recieve my paycheck,300 euros.Not Bad.....Considering that this crappy job creates nice ASSES,yes,firm and sexy ones..wahahahaha..........

We had a dinner party at our flat last night. I prepared adobo and ensaladang talong. They loved it...

I found work.

I distribute fliers and post posters for an english school around the district of Clot,it is the area where Sagrada Familia is.

It's a crappy job.

I do it 5 days a week for 4 hours a day,4:30-8:30 after school.

It's very tiring,but i need the money. I get 7 euros an hour and I get paid at the end of the month. takes care of rent and probably 1 pair of shoes? heheheh

My room and my flat is beginning to feel like home...

It was nice seeing familiar faces once again.
