Christmas Day!!


Christmas 2006,the 1st Christmas I spent outside home. Different but nice too.

What we did?

• we went to the beach
• tried double dutch
• played ultimate frisbee
• then watched a circus
• The cold did not stop us from jumping and running!
  
• before knowing it, we were shedding our layers and layers of clothes

We went home that night happy but very tired.

And so this day, the Holy Family started their long journey.......to find a place where our savior could be born.....

Let's prepare our hearts to recieve the newborn king!

Just came from a 5 day vacation. I went to the South of Spain.The city of Flamenco,tapas,art, mystic mountains and jewish towns. I was amazed.

Saturday:

I spent the whole day with my Spanish friend Tania. I went to her house,she cooked lunch and we went shopping for presents.

Sunday:

I ate buto buto soup and fried fish. It was soooo delicious. I met a filipina lady who is really very sweet. Suddenly it feels like home.

Monday:

I was in an irritating bitchy mood,but despite that, I smiled a LOT that day. It's my offering for dad.

Tuesday:

Opening night of our mini exhibit......i had guests! spanish classmates and a filipino friend..cool no?


hmmmmm...

I dreamt of eisselle,i felt all warm, I miss her.

So many unanswered questions,soo many unfound answers.

Most of the time, it's the little things in life that makes my life worthwhile.

Yes,learning to say NO is hard but i am learning.

I want a warm big bowl of beef mami with siomai and spareribs rice.

I celebrated my 1st thanksgiving. All my American friends made it so special for for all of us. I saw how everything was prepared.

There were so much food. Food that I only see see in movies,it was a very memorable experience. From now on I would feel the special need to celebrate thankgiving. Maybe not as grand as my American friends would celebrate it, but surely it would be a day of good food, friends and family.

Next week i am off to Sevilla,Granada,Alhambra and cordova.

Janah's shopping bag contains:

• 2 shirts
• a nice green belt

Yay! i used some of the money i earned working for the school. I earned 200 euros.

I spent 50 euros for shopping and the rest goes to the bank!!!

Janah's Palaisipan of the day:

Everyday I learn,I feel, I experience something new. My time in Spain will surely make me a better person. To choose the right from the wrong and learning when to push,to pull to stretch my limits to its maximum.

Janah's Goal:

I am currently training my will....it's hard work but surely end results will be everlasting.

As of physical training.I walk a lot,I walk everywhere. I work,manual labor. I am glad I am able to experience it. It makes me stronger,wiser and well...richer.....


Janah's realization:

There is no such thing as hard "work". I believe that the "work" difference is just a matter of intensity,but as long as you continue doing what you have to do and doing it well...by no time you'll get to where you would want to be.


I just learned that Dylan my pamangki, cousin Tom's son was just baptized! I missed the lechon!! shocks! congrats dylan! welcome to this world!
